Brittany “Novafro” Freemon

So far in the past year and a half in my painting journey, I wanted to challenge myself by simply just creating and trying new approaches to figuring out what is my style of art. Sometimes it means using materials like Acrylic paints, synthetic hair, colored pencils, Markers, spray paint, and various types of glue to give a textured touch. Other times is the thought of failure having a small pity party but getting up to improvising on how to turn it into a happy accident, No technique of expressing my thoughts onto a canvas is off-limits when it comes to art. I will say the most important to do is to soak up as much inspiration as you're given in life, whether it's admiring another artist's work and telling them, taking time to be one with nature or the social connections you make with people around you. All of those things help me keep going along for the ride.
