Monica Moreno is a multidisciplinary artist that works and resides in Los Angeles, California. She studied metalsmithing and jewelry making at Pasadena City College and other colleges in the Los Angeles area, where she received awards for her work in metals and participated in group exhibitions. Monica has received grants from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs to produce artwork and created work for Arizona State University's NASA Psyche Inspired program. In the span of her creative life she has produced work in movement and dance, sculpture, sound, graphic design, metals, and other disciplines. She is inspired by the commonalities that we have as humans and how we communicate. Much of Monica's work incorporates symbols and derives inspiration from parts of human anatomy.
