ArtOut 2022 Virtual Exhibit:  

ArtOut 2022: Queering the Pandemic was the first international juried art exhibit on-site and virtual sponsored by the LGBTQ Resource Center of the Gulfport Library. This exhibition showcased works created by LGBTQ+ artists and allies that were inspired by life during the Covid-19 pandemic. The primary goal of the exhibit was to lift up resilience, creativity, suffering, persistence and more.

 

ArtOut Judges:

 

Hunter O’Hanian, Executive Director of the Stonewall National Museum and Archives in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Kalki Subramaniam, transgender activist, artist, poet, actor and writer from India who founded the Sahodari Foundation to empower transgender people in India.

Saudade Toxosi, multidisciplinary artist and image curator, named a distinguished fellow by the Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and Sciences in Atlanta, Georgia. She has shown her art globally in South Africa, Norway and the Netherlands.
