A born & raised Floridian, 30 year old Macy Higgins enjoys capturing the sweeter side of life through her vibrant & maximalist art. With an eye for color, a taste for decadence, & a flair for the dramatic, Macy combines an array of nostalgic & contemporary aesthetics & techniques to create a body of work that is so loud, it practically speaks for itself. Macy is primarily self-taught & dedicated most of her 20’s to becoming well-versed in many visual mediums. Some of her more notable works include immersive installations at the Morean Art Center in 2022 and Mize Gallery in 2020 as well as the Strawberry Room installation at Fairgrounds St Pete & designing the 2024 Tampa Lightning Pride Puck.
